1. Helvetica can be found just about anywhere. It is especially prominent in larger metropolitan areas where there is a lot of information being thrown at you so the info needs to be easy to read.

Erik Spiekermann is a typographer and graphic designer from Germany. He was born May 30, 1947 in Stadthagen, Lower Saxony. He has been instrumental in the creation of many font types. A notable work of his is the Fira Sans font. This font was created for the Firefox OS, in collaboration with Carois Type Design.

Paula Scher is an American graphic designer, painter, and art educator in design. She was born October 6, 1948, Washington D.C. She has designed many maps out of typography, and was the first female principal at Pentagram. She has also designed many posters for The Public Theater and the New York Shakespeare Festival in Central Park.
